RealPoland specializes in organizing private tours of Poland. We are experts in creating unique, custom-made holidays, which will suit your personal needs. We do our best to meet the highest expectation of our Customers. Our personal approach guarantees that your request will be treated in a very special way.

What does RealPoland provide for our customers?

RealPoland services:


The currency in Poland is Polish Zloty (PLN). It is possible to pay in Euros in some of the bigger shops and malls. US Dollars are not accepted.

Yes, they are. You can use Visa, Mastercard or American Express (although these cards are not accepted everywhere, the same with Diner’s, so please ask the shop assistant first).

Tips are voluntary and of course depend on your satisfaction with the driver’s or guide’s service. We do not include them in the cost of the tour, but of course if they perform well, you are free to tip them and the amount is up to you. Most of the popular restaurants add 10% service fee to each bill, sometimes without a notice. If there is no service charge – 10-15% is the norm, depending of course on your satisfaction. Tips for porters and chambermaids are also quite common.

It is hard to determine the best time to visit Poland. Everything depends on your preferences. The high tourist season starts in May and lasts till September. The hottest months are June and July, but there is also a chance of rain. In May, August and September the weather seems to be the kindest (not too hot, but you can still expect strong sun and it rains rarely). Starting from November, it gets progressively colder. Winters are quite snowy, especially in January and February.

In the majority of cases a visa is not required to enter Poland.

Poland is part of the Schengen Area – to enter the zone, citizens of USA, Canada or Australia only need a passport valid for six months beyond planned departure date.

Yes – after you’ve turned on the roaming you should be able to make phone calls from your phone in Poland. However, please contact your service provider to find out about specific charges.

Moreover, most of the hotels provide free wi-fi, so you will be able to be in touch with home via Skype or email.

Electricity in Poland is supplied at 220 to 240 volts – if your device doesn’t accept these parameters, you will need a voltage converter. Polish sockets are designed to accept two round prongs – we recommend you bring a travel adapter with you, in case your plug has a different shape.

We reply within 24 hours.

Once we get your request, basing on the information you provide us with, we prepare an individual offer and tour itinerary. Of course, we are open your suggestions, wishes and change requests. When you accept the final shape of the itinerary, we send you further instructions regarding payment.

We offer three kinds of tours:


– city tours – short, one- or two-day excursions. These are only available in personal mode, meaning that you have your own private guide and driver at your disposal. No more group tours in a crowded bus with unknowlegable guides.
– customized tours – these usually take more than three days. You can either choose one of our featured itineraries, or design it on your own with our assistance. As we want to make your stay in Poland as comfortable as possible, we take care of everything: transportation, guides, hotels, meals, entrance tickets, etc.
– tours on fixed schedules – this term applies to those group tours which are organized in set dates. They can take between 7 and 16 days. The program is fixed and the same for every participant. The tour is always escorted by a tour leader.

We calculate prices in Polish Zloty (PLN). However, for your information, we always include the approximate amount calculated in EUR and USD (please keep in mind that the exchange rate changes daily). There are 2 methods of payment available to you:
1. Credit Card – the fastest and the easiest way. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diner’s Club. There are no extra charges or service fees.
2. Bank Transfer

The cancellation policy is different depending on the type of tour you have booked.


Cancellation is free 4 or more days before the starting date.

The cancellation fee is 100% of the tour price if you cancel the tour 3 or fewer days before the starting date.


As long as it is possible to cancel all hotel bookings free of charge, the fee is 10% of the total tour price 30 days or more before the starting date.

The fee is 40% of total tour price between 29 and 15 days before the starting date.

The fee is 75% of total tour price  between 14 and 8 days before the starting date.

The fee is 100% of total tour price 7 days or fewer before the starting date.

We do our best to avoid a strict cancellation policy. If we manage to cancel all services booked with third parties, we may forget a part of the cancellation fee.

The meeting point is always specified in the tour voucher which is sent to you via e-mail, provided by your Travel Assistant.

You can always find the contact details (name, surname, mobile number) to all drivers and guides in the tour voucher. Please try to call the indicated number immediately. In case of any further difficulties, please contact our office directly on the emergency number provided. .

In some cases it may be possible but everything depends on the circumstances. Please always contact our office first. Please also notice that it may require additional costs.

All components included in the price are always specified in the tour voucher. There are no hidden fees – should additional costs arise, you will be informed beforehand.

If the flight is simply delayed, we will wait for you and do our best to pick you up according to the latest arrival information provided.

Should you have to cancel the tour altogether, then please refer to our cancellation fees. We cannot reimburse you the whole sum if we were not informed in advance: reservations are in progress, someone is expecting you at stations or hotels. However, in these situations, we do our best to make the costs as low as possible.

We do not provide international plane tickets – you have to organize the flight yourself. All the tours start and finish at the airport/train station in Poland, where you are picked up by a private driver and transferred to your hotel.

If you decide to skip a particular service or excursion earlier than 30 days prior to the tour start date, we will modify the itinerary free of charge, and refund you the remaining balance. If you decide do that later, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the service. Any changes introduced later than 3 days prior to the tour start date will not be refunded.

The city tours don’t include any meals, but there is always some time left for you to have lunch.

The private tours usually only include breakfasts, but they can be arranged differently depending on your preferences.

The Polish Delight tours include breakfasts and 9 dinners (out of 16 days) – they are specified in the tour voucher.

The Ultimate Poland tours include breakfasts and dinners on every day of the tour.

We can organize a combined tour of Poland and a neighboring country – Latvia, Slovakia, Czech Republic or Germany. Please contact us directly for more details.

For a transfer of 1 to 3 pax: a sedan

For a transfer of 4 to 8 pax: a minivan

For a transfer of 9 to 20 pax: a minibus

For a transfer of over 20 pax: a coach

Although we can’t tell you who your leader is prior to departure, we can promise you will find them passionate and professional. Our guides are always local experts in their regions, with a lot of experience and knowledge to share. On escorted group tours you will be accompanied by a pilot throughout the tour, plus in every visited town a local guide will join you as well.

We will do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Please let us know prior to the tour start date of any food requirements or allergies – there will be space provided for it in your tour order form. If you only let us know of it after the tour starts, we cannot guarantee we will be able to modify the menus to your requirements.

For longer tours you can take maximum two suitcases/person: a big one up to 21 KG – 46 LBS and a smaller one as hand luggage. However, from our own experience, we would recommend to limit the number of suitcases that you are planning to bring.
